There is nothing, and I mean nothing that can compare with that moment when you are sitting in the theatre, the lights go dim, the orchestra begins to play the overture, and the curtains open. For the Musical Theatre fan (like myself) it is the best feeling in the world. Nothing can compare with a live production being played out in front of you.

Musicals and plays I’ve seen:

  • 1776 (twice)
  • Annie (three times, twice when i was two)
  • Babes in Toyland
  • Beauty and the Beast
  • Bye Bye Birdie
  • Cabaret (Roudabout theatre production – amazing)
  • Camelot
  • Carousel
  • Cats
  • Chicago (on Broadway! Ambassador Theatre)
  • Civil War
  • Fiddler on the Roof
  • Godspell
  • Guys and Dolls
  • Jesus Christ Superstar
  • Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
  • Les Miserables (twice)
  • Lion King (on Broadway! Finally!)
  • Miss Saigon (twice)
  • The Music Man
  • Peter Pan
  • Phantom of the Opera
  • Picasso at the Lapin Agille
